Celebrating Another Year!

Hey there! Thanks for dropping in! Recently I celebrated my birthday and I was super blessed by all the love shown to me. My amazing husband, who leaves for work before I’m even awake, had decorated the living room and kitchen. My present was strategically placed so I couldn’t miss it coming around the corner. I loved it! 🥰 God bless this humble man; he is an amazing artist, an awesome Sunday School teacher, and though he would tell you he isn’t creative, he really is. The love behind everything he does shines through. He encourages and blesses me daily. He lets me be me and that alone says a lot since I’m truly more of a kid than an adult. 🤗

Heading into work, I really didn’t give much thought about our worship leader planning surprises. I should have known she had something up her sleeve. She was already at work by the time I got there and as I was be-bopping down the hall to my office she wishes me a Happy Birthday and steps into the hall to talk to me as I’m unlocking the door to my office. Yep, I should have known.

I’m loaded down with my stuff not paying attention as I open the door. Totally caught me off guard with a decorated office. Oh my gosh! I even had a tiara so I could be a princess for the day! lol! I was so blessed with my gifts and her thoughtfulness between her and my husband I was tearing up just thinking about my blessings. I knew my husband planned on taking me to dinner so I was pretty excited by this time just counting down to when we’d be going out.

Unbeknownst to me I had another surprise in store. My co-worker had planned a birthday luncheon for me with a few dear ladies from our church. We had a blast sharing stories from our lives. I was blessed by these wonderful ladies taking time out of their busy schedules to come and share in celebrating my birthday with me.

About the picture at above, that is a photo of my first painting when my husband was teaching me how to paint. Our worship leader took it turned it into a graphic design and she also created my logo for this blog. I am blessed that God brought all of these wonderful people into my life. They encourage, bless, and teach me how to grow in God’s grace. God bless!

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
