Strength and Courage: Lessons from Joshua 1:9

Joshua 1:9 – 1

Joshua was called to lead God’s people into the promised land after Moses’s death. God gave him instructions and repeatedly reminded him to be strong and courageous. Sometimes God will call us to do something. We think it is more than we can handle and we hesitate. We find the courage to act when we obey God. As we follow His leading, we discover the strength to do what He calls us to do. Like Joshua, God will be with us. He will give us the strength and courage to get through those situations. Can you remember a situation in which you wondered how you would get through it? May the joy of the Lord fill you and bless your day.
